Does anyone know what the maximum distance from the computer to the Ledtriks sign over a Cat 5 would be? I am in the process of getting my supplies in to start the project and I would like to set it up about 35 ft away. Thanks.

It has been run at 100 ft i run between 25-50 no prob. some have had problems over short distances all depends on the PC port.

Thank you very much. I have several different computers to pick from so at least I will be able to test. I will report back on my setup and results.

Well I finally got everything installed for Christmas. I tried to run the Cat 5 60 feet to my sign, but the top row of LEDs would fire erratically. I moved the sign and reduced the length to 45 feet. The LEDS did not misfire as bad but it was still noticeable. I finally moved the sign so that the cord length was only 35 feet and that seemed to be the magic number.
