If anyone would like to make a cheap metal bending brake pm me and I will email to you in a pdf file that I found on the net. Not sure how thick of metal it can bend but easy to make and no welding. I would upload file on here but it wouldn't let me.

Is this it? http://www.ch601.org/tools/bendbrake/brakeplans.pdf

I was planning to make one this year, so I don't have to always go to my Dad's to use his. My Dad made one many years ago when I was a kid that still works great. His design is very similar to this one except he welded it.

yup thats it how did you get it to upload?I didn't upload it, I just linked to it. If you have the pdf file though, you could attach it to a post. Below the "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post" buttons you'll see the "Additional Options" section. Click the "Manage Attachments" button, then "Browse" for the file then hit "Upload". You have to be in the advanced editing mode to do this.

Thanks for sharing this! Actually, I was thinking to buy the BAC Industries (http://www.jcwhitney.com/bac-industries/b1295j1s9.jcwx) Sheet Metal Bending Brakes...but since I found this How-To, I think its better to make my own.
