I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to create vinyl decals of the DIYC forum's logo?

I really like the tree, and wanted to put that in the corner of my yard sign (the one that says Tune To ......)?

Also, I think some with the words Do It Yourself..... (and the tree of course) on my tool box and in my garage.

Anyone?

I will be offering the tune to signs again this year, along with whatever misc. decals people need. I haven't yet decided when I'll start offering them, but I'll create a new post in the buy/sell/trade forums when the time is ready.

You could try something like this:

and make your own... you know, DIY ;)

My 10 Year old daughter actually has a business producing Vinyl decals and license plates for sports teams. I expect her to sell over 500 decals for the upcoming Baseball season. Being the financial support of her operation, I'm certain I can persuade her to offer up something to the members of DIYC at a discount.

In addition to doing custom designs, I could help her setup some standard logos and graphics (DIYC Logo, VIXEN, etc). Witht the proper permission of course. That would make it cheaper for everyone. She could also offer Custom if anyone was interested. For anyone that has the proper tools, you could just send a DXF or EPS file and she could quote and cut directly from that.

I'm new so I don't know the specific rules, but I'll plan on posting to the Vendors area when the time comes.

Oops, didn't see Photovor's response and previous thread. As a former professional sign guy, I can tell you that his looks great and are a good price for the standard set. Wasn't trying to step on anyone's toes.

I'll put something in the Vendor's area about custom one-off decals, but for a standard Tune-To sign, you can't beat his.

If you come across this, just PM or Email me for info or questions.

Waterslide Decal Paper can also be found on eBay (http://search.ebay.com/Waterslide-Decal-Paper_W0QQfromZR40QQfrtsZ0) by the sheet if you don't need a full package of it.

I know this is an old topic, but I thought I'd just update the post as well. I've started a thread on this years (2009) vinyl signs. http://doityourselfchristmas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7637

If someone wants just a decal of a logo, that can be arranged.

Hi Photovor,

Please let me know when you plan on doing vinyl decals for next year.

I don't plan on continuing to offer signs in the future. I had trouble finding the time to get what I did this year done. It's just gotten to be to much to manage. I may eventually put a design up on cafepress for people to get from there, but I wouldn't start looking for it tomorrow.

Sorry.

Thanks for providing the logo Photovor. If you decide to share, I'm certain that my daughter would be interested in selling the decals. Of course, we have 9-10 months before we start worrying about that.

I also have my own cutter and can provide stickers year around for just about anything custom or otherwise.

Hi kjburns and Trip, please keep us updated if you both can provide vinyl decal cutting services.

I am trying to plan for 2010 and don't want to be procrastinating like this year. I will be re-doing the signs. I also got some vinyl made for the wifes car to advertise.... that wasn't cheap at all.

I should be available most times throughout the year, just send me a PM.

Here is the DIYC logo I made for myself this year in reflective blue.
