Picked up 2 boxes of the 3 sets of gift boxes and 200 boxes of 60 count LEDs. Was only able to find 19 boxes of green in 3 stores. Will make rounds tomorrow to find more.

Just picked up 159 boxes of r/g/c ready to do it right in 2009 will have around 20000 lights for my first time with computer controlled hope to get it all built this yr going to build 7 ren 24s one fm transmitter and varios other items for the yard. and hope to have it all done by oct/30/09

I only got 10 each or Red, Green and Blue. I just wanted to bump up my replacement stock.

I’m going to wait until someone does a 90% drop (probably Target) to get the clears. There seems to be a great excess of clears around here. I think I’ll use them for arches or something like it.

Once the 90% hits, I start buying random stuff just because I can’t pass up such a good deal; even if I don’t need it. I just can’t help myself.:)

The stores don't know when the discounts happen; that decision is made by corporate.

Last year I waited for 90. Never happened. They explained that they can get more by writing it off as a loss then to go 90. :(

I saw a sign in a walmart in Joplin Mo, that was one of those "Don't do the math yourself" things that lists the original price, and the sale price... it had a column for 50% and a column for 75% off, and in marker next to the 75% off, someone had written "Jan 2"... which may or may NOT have been someone who knows trying to telling us when the 75% off sale starts.

I was also told by a stock girl at another walmart that she didn't know, but she expected it to happen this week...

Went to Wally World today to scope out the light remnants. They had a butt-load of clear minis, one case of red minis (I snagged that) and 11 boxes of green (I snagged them as well). Also had various LED's and icicle lights. It was still only 50% off, but, if I hadn't got what I wanted they'd have been gone by the time I got there tomorrow when, rumor has it, they go to 75%. I'll be there early tomorrow to find out...

My Walmart said they are going to 75% on Saturday morning. The manager did say that the stores had some discretion though and they had heard one of them close by was already at 75%. I checked, it wasn't.

Just pick up 15 boxes of 60 count LED in RED, White, and Green and 39 boxes of 100 count minis in Red, White and Green and 12 candy canes. Plus a couple of window displays. The stuff at my Walmart is not moving every fast they have a lot of stuff still I'm waiting for deeper cuts on there mini light prizing to get lights for my arches.

I was told by an associate that it was supposed to be Saturday, but will be Today Friday.
I'll be checking there on the way home.

Even though they claim that the storage bins are NOT on clearance,
They ARE on SALE.
We got the $11 ornament holder sets for $6.50,
and the 22 gallon red and green storage marked $6.50 for $5.
$5 for those large containers is great.
Check out the prices with the scanners in the store,
some come up on sale, others don't.

Our Wally World did the same. Got 30 strands of COOL WHITE 5mm 60ct LED's for our tree. The 1800 mini's we had on it did quite a job of warming up the living room. Next year, the LED's will solve that problem... :D

yep...$.60 per box of 100 ct minis.

No solid color LEDs at all. I had to return some multi colored that I got by mistake...at $1.25...then got new R/G/C/B at the new price. I picked up another 100 boxes.
