I don't know if anyone else is having this issue or not, but I commonly have issues bringing up the wiki. When I click on my bookmark or the wiki link here, it is a crapshoot whether I will get there or not, and it seems very random, with low percentage of success.
When it fails, it takes me to a page that seems like a parked domain paid search page.

It has been hit or miss and probably will be for a while. I downloaded it and now I just open it from a folder on the desktop.

I took a screenshot with the page I get when I cannot access wiki. Screenshot at http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wrongpageyj4.png
You will notice the address in the address bar should be the main wiki page.
*EDIT*
Just tried to access GRINCH WIKI page... this is the other page I get at times when the WIKI does not load properly.

Have you tried it with the www in front of the christmasinshirley?

I just tried to access the Wiki with both AOL and IE, and was directed to search pages both times. Seems it is not there right now.....................
That is the first time I have ever had a problem getting in............
I just tried. No Problem. It has to be your ISP's DNS. I use two, one local and one on a virtual network out of NC. Both work fine. It did take awhile for both to catch up.
Good luck and

I have tried both with and without the www. seems not to matter which I use.
Interestingly, it can go back and forth between working and not in 10 mins and back again.

It appears to be more than a single ISP DNS resolution. rstehle just had the same issue I encounter seemingly randomly, and that is Idaho and South Carolina. I am wondering if it would be prudent to provide ip links to the wiki as well since multiple locations are having issues?

I haven't been able to get on at all since the change. I get this:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
What you can try:

This does seem to be more than just a simple DNS propagation issue. In the past several days, sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't.
I had a similar problem when I moved one of my domains from GoDaddy to another host. I updated the name servers in the Godaddy "Total DNS" control panel thing, and all appeared to be well after propagation, but then the same thing happend as what's happening here, it would come and go. After a call to the new host's tech support they fixed the problem. It turned out to be some sort of DNS configuration problem, but I don't remember the details.

I have been having ON/OFF issues with the WIKI too, for the past few days. From work, and 3 computers at home. It's very spuradic. I think the underly issue is really my need for the WIKI. The more I REALLY need it .. the more likely it wont be there. Sorry, if I my need is hosing it up for the rest of you :)
It eventually comes back around...

I did some digging and the new name servers are in fact the authoritative DNS. Anyone that is having trouble reaching the wiki please forward your ISP and your dns servers so I can check to see if they are in fact pointing to the correct ip address. This will help me determine if there is a propagation issue or some other issue.

Sorry xihuitl, I do not know your name but I did some research today. Your ISP is Northland Cable Television Inc., your IP address is 69.59.108.194, your ISP's name servers are nsa.ibbsonline.com, 209.55.0.110, and nsb.ibbsonline.com, 209.55.1.220. I did a look up using those name servers and they are still pointing to the old server ip address for the ChristmasInShirley.com site, 204.13.161.92. The new server ip address is 64.38.29.245. I am including a screen shot I took showing my ISPs name servers pointing to the proper server ip address and your ISPs name servers pointing to the old server ip address. For some reason the name servers used by your ISP have not been updated. The place to look at in the image is the 2 lines under the non-authoritative answer for your name servers, nsa and nsb. The top listing is for my ISP and it reflects the proper ip address, the second 2 listings are your ISPs and they reflect the incorrect ip address.

I just went to my internet connection, hit repair my connection and now it works. If you are having trouble, you may want to try this.

Ok, did a bit more extensive troubleshooting tonight. First, tried to load my bookmark. Got the same search page. After reading your post, I brought up a terminal, and pinged christmasinshirley.com and it was pointing to the new address you stated. When i went back to the browser, I did see that my bookmark has the leading www. I removed the www and got the wiki. Great news. When I returned to the terminal, I pinged www.christmasinshirley.com and got the old address.
From what I have seen tonight, the DNS servers at least at my ISP's level do not have the same address with and without the www. This may explain why some people have issues loading the site and others don't.
As far as why some browsers load the page while others don't, that can easily be attributed to specific browser coding (firefox, and other browsers built on mozilla, use the new xulrunner libs which iirc callout resolution requests differently than MS based browsers).
The difference between with/without www seems to make more sense than my DNS server flip-flopping between the addresses seemingly willy-nilly. I will update my bookmark to not use www and see if that resolves it. Will post back after a couple of days of use.
If this resolves it and it causes no further issues for other members, might I recommend you update the WIKI link without the www as I am doing with my bookmark.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks for helping out.

Ok, just had trouble viewing wiki. Strange... was looking at page about arch, then clicked on another topic, and it was gone. I went straight to the terminal and pinged both addys, and they both pointed to diff servers with the christmasinshirley.com (without the www) still pointed at the right address. However I am still getting the search page.
Something evil is happening here.
**CORRECTION**
Shortly after posting this, I re-checked my ping, and now both are pointing at wrong server (204...)

Good news xihuitl, both your dns servers show the correct ip address now. I just check this morning, 1st thing I did after waking up and turning on my laptop.
