Programing for background

How do I find information on writing script for background sequence? My wife's cousin is a programmer and he helped me set up a basic sequence, but he need some more info to help me write it. Sorry if I don't know the proper language, this is greek to me right now. We have simple on and off functions working but I want random or sparkle and I want to use millisecond but it's not working.

has a section that lists Standard.dll which gives a script it primary functionality.

Yes , Vixen is written in .NET byte code, the original source I believe is entirely C#. The scripting language is also C#.

The plug ins are generally written in C# as well.
