i have recenty bought a grinch with a ren-c and just wondering what type of ssrs i need for it. is there special ones needed to dim

not special SSR's as such its more a matter of the chips that you use on the SSR's.

The standard SSROZ that most people here use works great with the setup you have (thats what I am using). The dimming ability comes from the optocoupler not the triacs so make sure you use a non-zero cross optocoupler, such as moc3023. A zero cross optocoupler will only give you off/on (no dimming). If you need the SSROZ pc boards you can get hold of wjohn, he usually has a stock of them.
