About to post a cry for help when after a little search I think I found my answer. I have one grinch (no dimming) and running 32 of the channels. (just started 3 weeks ago). Running a simple sequence no music and when one channel is to turn on and off, another channel that is to stay on all the time intermitanly goes on and off with the channel that is normally going on and off. I am using MBI chips, my power was suppling 5.05v. Read that it should be about 4.5v. Change the voltage to 4.8v and eveything seems to run fine. For the experts, is this an effect for to high voltage?

What it probably is, is a low voltage on the parallel port. Lowering the supply voltage a little allows the chips a greater chance of working out a 1 from a 0 in terms of bits sent. The lower voltage is really common in laptops and add-on cards.
