Ok I know this has to be simple but my brain is fried from everything else. The wife and kids have made sequences on there computers and now we are trying to get them transferred onto the show computer. How is this done as we either get an empty sequence or the sequence shows up on the show computer but the sequence data is wrong or changed and it will not playback correctly. By this I mean channels that show as being on don't come on. Please help the confused old man, I have enough grey hair and don't want to go bald from pulling my hair out
Thanks
Scott

Well, IF you are using a profile, you will have to move the profile as well, with the sequences. A simple copy and paste of all the sequences and profile onto a flash drive will work. Then just place them in the correct folder on the show machine. I * think* you may have to re-attach the sequences to the profile after moving. Not sure as I do not use them.

If you move the .vix (Sequence file) and .pro (Profile file) files into the appripriate folders on both computers, you shouldn't have to re-attach anything.
However, when moving between computers like that, don't delete or overwrite the wrong file. And remember, you may be making changes to the profile on one and not the other.

I found a real easy way to move files from one computer to another. Using "LOGMEIN", you can easily move files from one computer to another just by dragging and dropping. Very cool..............

Thanks all for the help. We were doing it correctly to begin with. The sequence we were trying to move was messed up in the wifes computer:?. Re-did the sequence and all is now good.
