I have found a web page that lists a few manufactures that will give us samples and how to request them.

Some of us know about the Allegro already, I ordered mine Thursday August 30, 2007 and Recieved them on Tuesday September 4th. Probablly because of the Labor day weekend and the local distributor is only a few miles from my house. The Woodlands, TX just outside of Houston.

I wonder how many times we can request samples or is this a one time deal?

So far I have requested samples from Fairchild Simiconductors, Do not use a Yahoo or GMail account, you will be denied. So I created a web page, then set up e-mail and used that.

Fairchild came through: Ordered Sept 5, 2007 and recieved them September 6, 2007. This time from Mansfield, Tx, just outside of Dallas.

AMP and Molex are pending, lets hope it works. :D

Depends on the manufacturer. Some have written rules for requests other just cut you off when they think they have given you too much.
