2. You did'nt buy that at the warehouse/bunnings/<insert your local blinky supplier>
3. How much did that cost?
4. Does your wife know how much you spent?
5. Um, are you completly insane?
6. Do you have a job, or do you do this all year?
7. Why?
8. Can you help me out next year?
9. Where did you learn how to do this stuff from?
10. Wheres the toilet.

#3 is ok, as long as #4 does'nt know.. I guess thats a interelationship?

Actually mrs packethead is right into it now.. Shes prmoting a big spendy upgrade for next year.

Explaining to them that putting it up was the easy part.....

Building all the stuff and sequencing it is what takes all the time.

It is very cold here at Christmas. My viewers are usually inside their cars with the windows up. They may be asking questions but unless they brought their FM transmitter and "TUNE TO" sign I wouldn't normally know what they want to know!

Funniest thing i've read all day :-)

We've probalby met more of our neighbours ( people who live in a 5km radius ) in the last week or so, than the 4 years we have been living here..

I seem to find myself at the gate talking to people...

Its certainly not cold here, biggest problem is fighting sandflys which seem to want to bite at the moment.. I'm going to buy a couple of citronella flares on teh way home..

yup, funny, mrs was talking all summer about going and staying somewhere when the lights were up. last night, wannted to go to the grocery store, coulda waited, but when I got to the bottom it was "well we can sit outside the house in the car and watch the other cars watch our lights"

miht just be a conversion going here.

Mine was asking what I want for Christmas and I answered more lights for the display.
Her responce was besides that What do you want. I told her more PCB's to run the lights. She just laughed and told me I need something besides christmas display stuff.

She really likes the display so far and has been helping design the display for next year.
