Looks great. I like your centralized control panel with all processing boards in one place.

Your megatree with star is terrific.

Brian

Nice work Mr Collingwood! Love the swanky house - complete with motorised gate! ;)

Looks very well organized, love that your cables are well hidden. My yard is a mess with cables at the moment.

looks great and mega tree should be impressive in the evenings. I saw my workbench from lowes as well in there.

How big are those torroids?

How big are those torroids?

They are not actually torroids. There is one 1000w Stepdown Transformer (240v to 110v) and 2 Variac Transformers (25 amps each) that can be set at any voltage from 0v to 270v (I have them set at 24v) Only 3 plugs into a seperate circuit in the garage that runs approx 35,000 lights.

That is super neat. I bet the arches look cool. Straight on, with the ones up over the garage door and the smaller ones in front of it. Do you sequence them together?

I wish my setup desk looked half that neat.

The arches above the garage doors are not leaping arches. They are minis that outline the house walls and roof. You have given me ideas for next year though.

How's the star made? I still need a megatree star topper for my 12' tree and I still don't know what I'm going to build it out of.

The star on top of the mega tree was surprisingly easy to build. I just drew it with chalk onto the garage floor the size I wanted it then I cut up some 5mm round bar, bent it into shape and welded it together. I then put light clips onto the 5mm round bar and added the lights. To support it I just made a simple frame from 20mm square steel tube and zip tied the star to it. I will take a closeup picture for you if that helps.
