The P10 matrix works but there is a vertical shift.
What would cause this to happen?

Are your universes configured the same i.e 510 vs 512?

Do you have the start channel configured correctly?

Have you double checked panel layout in FPP?

Does test mode in FPP look seamless?

Appears you have your inputs reversed. P1 should be left and P5 on right. P6 right P10 left
Same for all 3 inputs

Remember, layout is as you view front. . . So reverse if looking at cables.

It Does.

The channel output seems wrong on the LED Output - shouldnt there be more channels for a 5X6 matrix?

That doesn’t hurt....just wrong.
You can fix by changing the panel count. Since you need to redo the layout, change to 5x5, then back to 5x6....you may need to go to1x1 or ??? Keep changing til it is right, then do arrows and panel placement....starting with 1 on left with arrow down

Even thought I have the panels set to 5WX6H its still wrong?
The image of the panels does look weird - it should be wider.

Sorry but I thought the lower R was #1

Why ask for help if you only question the answers.

Issue one: Channel count. Your screen has the wrong count, but it is meaningless to the to FPP, and the screen will display correctly with the error. Cosmetic.
If you want it fix, just change something the effects the count, until if changes. Then reset to the correct information and the correct channel count should follow.

Issue two: Your panel is displayed out of order. I gave you the solution. change arrow screen from Right to Left, to be from Left to right.
You did your layout matching the view of the cable side, but the FPP developers programmed to do the setup as view from the front.
This is also supported if you look at your lite panel. Visually move the right column "JO" to the far left, then 2nd right to the 2 left "Y TO" then the 3rd panel remain " THE " and so on

So we should have visualized "JOY TO THE WORLD

although he is MrGrumpy, is response is correct.

assuming you're using Ron's board, I had this same issue. You have the cables plugged into Output 1 & Output 3 swapped.

It took me awhile but with your help the matrix will be displayed tonight.
I really need to stay involved year around and not wait this long. You can certainly forget a few key points easily.
