Just so you know I am new(my Grinch and SSR boards are still being mailed to me for me to build.) So a few days ago I remember reading some where about how you have to do something special in order to be able to use dimming with led lightsets but I lost the page. I'm thinking about going out and buying some new light sets this year but I would like to know if i convert my grinch to dimming next year with a Ren-C if led lightsets are going to be a problem. If anyone can help me out with this question it would be much appreciated and potentially save me some frustration next year.

You should be fine.

I am using the Grinch-Renc combo this year and a cobination of led and regular lights. They all dim fine. Only difference is the leds will dim at a different rate than incandescent lights. Not a big deal, we did our sequencing as normal and then went back and adjusted the led dimming levels to make it more uniform. Just remember to use non zero cross optos in the ssr boards (moc3023).
