Would it be possible to cut and paste/insert channels like you can with excel?.
I would like to be able to add achannel into an existing sequence and just be able to move all the channels down one or two.
Or can we already do this in Vixen 2 and i don't know how?
Kev
Sort of. You can rearrange their display order and output order. The result wouldn't end up being the natural order, but a saved sort order instead. Sufficient?

I'll give that a go and see what happens.
Thanks KC

Thinking about this again, this is what i was hoping for to help with sequencing.
I've created my preview, done the sequencing and then realised i want to add more mini trees, what i want to do is add the extra trees into the program below where i've sequenced the trees earlier, so i can look at what i've done before. So all i need to do is add rows into the grid and the disply order and output order changes automatically. Manually update the preview with the new trees add the new sequence and away we go.
Reading back through this seems like a big ask, and is not a must have, but would be a great thing to be able to do.
Hope i've explaned myself, if not i'll try again later.

G'day Klanger.
This is something that I've been hounding KC for, and it seems to be working well in the latest update that was released (2.0.3.2).
Are you using profiles? If so, you can easily change both the hardware output order and the edit-window appearance order. Just take a look through the Profile Manager and have a play...

Kevin,
Just add the new mini tree channels down at the bottom of the list. The create a new sort order in the editing window with all the trees in one group. Sequence to your hearts content, and when you are finished everything will work as expected, all you did was visually move the channels that were far apart and made them close together for sequencing.

No worries klanger. Seems we have more in common than this hobby/obsession... we are both out of the Rugby World Cup!
