Wiki Discussions

Sometimes when I'm doing some wiki editing I come across situations where I feel I need a second opinion, such as moving a page or making a change to the main page. Would it be better to discuss changes to the wiki here on the forum or on discussion pages there? I rarely read the discussion pages, and a question on whether or not to make a major change, especially on some of the more obscure articles, probably won't get answered.

I would say to post the question in the discussion area and if you do not get a reply in a reasonable period of time then post requesting people read the discussion page. This will bring more attention to the wiki and hopefully get more people over there.
