So I have this AWESOME wire nativity set complete with animals and what-not. But the lights are incandescent and I want to change them to LED to match the rest of my yard. The problem is that the lights change colors frequently. For instance, Mary has blue lights around her dress but white lights for the shawl on her head. I need to get some kind of LED stringer where I can choose the colors of the bulbs myself. Any suggestions on what to use and where to buy it?

Thanks!

I wired up a giant waving santa/rudolph archway wireframe last summer. I used clear LED lights and then bought colored clips to 1)clip the lights to the wireframe and 2) allow me to change the colors at will. It worked really well.

That is who I used for my lights and color combo clips as well. Great customer service if you need it too!

About a month ago I re-lit 2 6' soldiers with the LED's and combo color clips which came out terrific!

Why not just run multiple strings in different colors? I have redone a few wire reindeer from incan to LED and since the LED draws significantly less power I put more lights on it. They tend to look a bit better with more lights, in my opinion.

I just re-did 11 of my wire frames with LEDs I got last year on sale from sams club (members mark). they are super bright clear, 200 count led's. the bulb size is very close to that of the incans. I used 1/4" wire frame clips and incan color caps from http://christmas-leds.com. Not sure if they still sell them, but worked great for me. Always wanted to try those combo clips mentioned in this thread, just haven't taken the time to check them out. Seems they would be less work than the clips and caps, and more color choices too.
