Woke up to condensation on the inside of the vinyl matrix covering. It got cold last night and the sun is out in full force this morning.
I can actually feel the the warmth coming off the vinyl.

I assume the trapped air is heating up too much and meeting the cold outside temp.
Is there anything I can do or should I not worry about it unless water actually starts to accumulate inside?
Do I need a vent or a circulation fan?

Thanks

Heat is an electronics killer. I have never sealed my elements. All my pixels are waterproof but can still dissipate heat. I would vent the box a bit to keep the moisture down and relieve the heat buildup.

Try adding a desiccant pack to the case. Heat + cold = Condensation, and water + electronics = corrosion & shorts.

If you can vent it with something like this : https://www.amazon.com/MAURICE-FRANKLIN-LOUVER-RLW-100-Louver/dp/B000BP7Z66/ref=zg_bs_511372_9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EDH3HHHWT29TC7RSWC7H it will help, adding a small fan to circulate the air is good also.

I have mine completely sealed with no ventilation and have had no issues with condensation.
It's 30 degrees here at night and 55 degrees in the afternoon. Been running for two weeks so far.

Thank you - I just got home and see another area of condensation on the other side (the earlier condensation is gone). Looks like I should vent.
If I use a vent as posted ( https://www.amazon.com/MAURICE-FRANK...HWT29TC7RSWC7H) would it work okay if I put them at the top of the back were the "guts" are?

I use one I got locally at home depot, as long as the louvers are facing down, it should be ok for most cases. If there is driving rain, you're going to have an issue- but at that point, I think things getting wet is the least of your concerns.
