ok i wrote 2 seq and each run fine alone i put them both in a program back to back with no delay. When i play the program it stops after the first song and give me the following:

"there is at least one plugin that has a channel range that exceeds the number of channels in the sequence"

what does that mean? can some one please explane it to me and dumb it way down.

im new to vixen (dont even know what a plugin is)

Im running a grinch and the sequences are set to simple 595 with channels 1-12 (there is nothing on channel 11 &12)

thanks scott

There is a plug in in one of your sequences that has more channels than the other. It also depends on how you set up your program - did you say "use program's plug in setup", "Use a profile" or "Use each sequence's plug in setup"? If you've set up plug in's in each sequence you can either delete them and choose "use program's plug in" and set up the plug in again so it's common to both, or choose "use each sequence's plug in setup" and leave the plug ins in each sequence.

Hope that's it!

(PS - plug in is a magical bit of mumbo-jumbo that helps Vixen talk to your hardware. I assume you set up your current plug ins by going to "attached plugins" on the tool bar.)

Gizmo,
Sounds like your second sequence does not have the same number of channels as the definition in the plugin. This means there are probably fewer channels defined in the second sequence (I'm betting 10 rather than 12 like first one).
