Just as an FYI:
I found that when I Remote Desktop into my show machine as the display is running the lights do not flash at the proper rate. The Vixen output seems to slow down and miss some of the faster flash rates. I hat some 50ms on/off flashes that did not work properly. I was using the integrated serial port, Renard 64 and the Modified Renard plugin at 57.6k baud. The sequence was utilizing a profile.
This occurred only when I was actively logged into the machine. As soon as I closed my remote connection everything went back to normal.
I was connected inside my LAN using an internal ip address.

Has anyone else come across a situation like this?

I ran a good chunk of my show while using UtlraVNC to my show laptop in the garage with no performance degredation. The laptop is an old Dell D600 1.8ghz P-III with 500MB of RAM.

Strange - i haven't had any issues with slowdown issues on mine. I am using the Logmein free.

I have not had any issues with RDP but you will if you have anything on the screen that needs a lot of refreshing. Do not use the preview through RDP and if you maximize vixen it may have an issue depending on the computers in question.
Minimize vixen and see if it goes away.

I have not had any issues using LogMeIn, only while using Remote Desktop.

Have you tried changing the connection speed under the experience tab in the advanced options screen?

I had similar issues for Halloween. It ended up being the remote computer sound option on the local resources tab when you click connection options. I set it to leave at remote computer and it corrected my "lag" in execution.
