Anyone know what would cause this panel to be off one column? I have this on a couple rows. It is the first panel going back in the other direction

What is generating the test pattern?

I didn't see this shift in your previous thread. Likely your sequencer or sequencer to FPP

Gut feeling is the "arrow" is wrong for that panel in the fpp setup. Have a screen shot of the fpp output screen? Try flipping the direction for that panel.

ok the issue above was caused by me trying to figure the rest of my P10 issues. I bypassed a malfunctioning panel and that created the offset. Now on to my real issues.

I’ve been grinding on this all day and I need help.
I have a 6x6 running on a Pi3 here is the setup.
I’m just running a test pattern using the channel numbers. I setup 3 Pixel overlay models in FPP. As follows
Out1: channels 1-18432
Out2:Channels 18433-36864
Out3: Channels 36865-55296

37003

37004

Here is whats happening.

Note: Since Output 1 all panels work, I tested all 3 outputs on these panels and all 3 outputs functioned properly.

Output 1 all 12 panels are fine.

Output 2: Panels P6/7 cause the rest of the rest of the panels to randomly flicker and don’t display the correct pattern. I tested two spare panels then connected then in the place of 6/7 and the issue still exists. This makes no sense because both panels were tested. I then place the two test panels in place P1/12 and all 12 panels work fine. I tried to move them back to P6/7 without any luck. P8 lines are shifted because I moved the loop from P6/7 to P8/9 when I added the tested panels at P1/12.

Output 3: P2 seems to be an issue so I bypassed it to test the rest of the panels. When I placed another panel in the P2 spot, same issue. P11/12 similar issue to P2. I thought maybe it’s the output of P10 so I bypassed P10 and the issue still exists.

The picture above is what it looks like when I bypassed panel causing issues but below is what it looks like when everything is hooked up in order and a short video of it in action.

Let's fix the arrows first:

37005

One more thing. Arrow assignment are as looking at the front of the board....so if your bottom is at the bottom left as looking at the panel, then your arrow page says you are entering panel O1-P6

Can you post a picture of the back of your panel

Here is the back, I have a couple power disconnected, I think part of the problem power. I plugged a panel from one supply to the other.l, seemed to fix it, I'm running two power supplies, the (-) are tied together.

I see what you are saying, I need to reorder all of my panels?

Fix that one arrow and I think you are good to go, except for defining the correct input.

Bottom left if not where you enter your first panel. It tell Pi how the data is being received.
Bottom Left is for Vixen3, Top left is for xLights. I don't know others.

Thank you for all the help.

I changed my cables around and flipped it over, I'm good.

There is a flickering at the end of each output, P12

I can't tell but make sure both -v on the power supplies are connected to each other. Also make sure both supplies are outputting at the same voltage.

Yea the video didn't upload in HD. The last panel on each output flickers.

I do have the -v of the two connected together.

It doesn't look like you have a good balance or panel loading. Can you get 16 on each power supply?

I'll look at that, not sure the total per power supply. I thought I had plenty of power. Do you know the current per panel? I've read that yo should use 2a per panel.

I have 16 panels and one power supply is sufficient.

ok I'm running 18 panels per power supply, still have the same issue only on the 12th panel of each output.

In this video you can see whats going on. The green seems to be worse

I still don't see the flicker....maybe I don't know what to look for.....

I do seem to recall someone having a flicker problem at the matrix board introduction. I think it was discussed on the green site, and I think Ron was the tester. As I recall he said you connot be on the FPP screen at the same time running the sequence, but before exiting the web access, navigate away from the status/control page.

Best I can give you.

Also you can drop your output to 50-60% the flicker should go away.

I will try that, at 70% now.

The flickering is only one the last panel, I close the fpp page
