So, I understand that the SSR boards we build are quite similar to what you get in a complete package when you buy an SSR off the shelf...
I'm covering my house in c9s, and the wattage adds up quick... so instead of burning up a lot of channels of low current dimming... I was thinking about replacing 4 channels of my ssr boxes with off the shelf 20 or 40 amp ssrs...
What I can't find in the sale literature (and I'm not finding data sheets on the ones I'm checking out on ebay...) is whether or not the input stage opto on these SSRs are random phase or zero crossing..... (synchronous or asynchronous seem to be the terms of choice for ssrs... yes?) does anyone know if most SSRs of the ebay variety (seeing specs like : 3-32vDC input, 48-240vAC output, 20-60A)are one way or the other?
Thanks!
