I have 8 light up skull lights I have used on my walkway for the last few years. They use c7 blubs inside the skull, and are all on 1 wire.

I bought some zip cord and sockets because I want to make them controllable. Originally, i was thinking I needed to make 8 cords, each going to a different skull, and having both the line and the neutral. Then I got to thinking, that with the SSRs, only the line comes out of each, there is no neutral back, to the SSR itself. So I am thinking I can run a single wire from the last skull back to the outlet, and it will work fine. I did an attempt at a sketch attached below. I know it's not a standard electrical diagram, but I hope it gets the point across. The solid lines are for the line (hot) wires, and the dashed lines are the neutral wires.

Anyway, I think that will work, but wanted to get someone else to look at it before i make it or blow something up testing it.

That'll work just fine.
