Dimming SSR?

I am currently (still[on spare time]) making a design for my own boards(Grinch and ssr's). I am wondering what type of ssr is required for dimming, and if they would work with the Grinch for on/off blink control. That way I wouldn't have to change them when I suddenly make a Renard or make a REN-C or something. Thanks

Got it, need to get rid of zero-cross circuit. And I can use the non-zero-x on an on/off application. One more thing, is there a schematic or PCB design to accomplish this, or is it the basic one like in Sean's How-To?
