The Co-Op board cost will be $50.00/set of three boards with a flat rate of $9.50 for shipping for up to 5 sets of boards for the United States, $13 for more than five sets.

For those in Aussie - please select local pickup at this time, and I will calculate this shipping charges at when the order is recieved so I can weight the boards. I can send a flat rate box at a cost of about $40 for five sets, but, I may work with someone to send one big box to Australia, and then have them ship out from there.

Shipping is automatically calculated. Local pickup is also an option if your in the Phoenix area and is an option upon checkout.

This CoOp will End October 15th at 8:00PM PST (The time is so that the order can be placed that night) ** OR ** possibly as soon as 50 board sets are ordered.

Co-Op can be ordered from the following site:

Hey Frank - It's 50 bucks for 3 boards right?
It says 50 bucks / board which I THINK you mean is 50 bucks to make the Triks board (which is 3 of your boards).
Not 150 bucks to make 1 Triks panel - right?

kostyun

It is for a set of 3 boards - clarified original post.

I get an error when clicking to the store:

link to database can not be established.

????

Also,

Is there a final picture of the layout?

kostyun
09-24-2008, 06:26 PM
There's a ticket open with the hosting provider - theres a database issue on their end.

I have a "new" picture of the final layout - but - you get the general idea from the existing one.

I will have a PDF file out this week sometime with the board dimensions clearly marked (and holes marked) so that people that want to get ahead on making some sort of a case/etc can get a start on it.

Since there's apparently been some concerns on the cost of the PCB - please remember the size of the PCB's in total is 200 square inches - thats a LOT of PCB.

I have attached a recent quote of the costs for the PCB itself - right now the cost is @ $54 per set - so right now it'd a $120 cost out of my pocket to place the orer.

I don't mind helping either, but can they ship FedEX ground instead of overnite. That should make up the difference.

wjohn

unfortunately no, the PCB provider is in APAC and the boards would have to walk and swim.

Just ordered 2 sets of boards from your store, (plus a couple of your motion control boards). If the cost ends up a little higher, let me know how much and I will send it. No reason for you to go into a hole over this.

I appreciate your hard work and love your products.

OK - board order is due to me soon!

Now - I had ordered 4 additional sets of the panels for my own use - however - some recent (long story - this is aside from the carpal tunnel issues) things were I am deciding to sell the boards sets. I also ordered 2000 LED's last week from ledshoppe.com that I am also planning on selling.

I am not selling controllers, etc due to needing to make "Christmas special" for a family.

If anyone is still interested in the boards/leds (or combo of both) please send me a PM.

I'll take the LED's with my board order Frank.
I used BHK LED's for my last board, How do these compare?
What are you asking for the 2000 LED's?

kostyun
10-26-2008, 12:47 PM
I'm asking $50 for the LEDs - same price I paid - benefit being they should be to me in a couple of days rather.

As far as comparason - might ask ron - he'd know the best I think (as he's used both sets)

I would like to sell the panels first - because if I don't - I'd rather assemble and use then or sell them as an assembled unit.

Hey frank your parts you have listed here as optional are stated as below:

8 8pin connectors
4 RJ45 jacks.

Is this per board? Are the RJ45 jacks top entry (Mouser part #571-5556416-1)? What eight pin connectors should be used? Can you use Cat5 for the hookups to the eight pin connectors?

If you have a board set left over I would like to order it from you.

Thanks

Frank (and the other Aussies)

The boards arrived today, they look great, and they said they enjoyed their week with customs.

Luckily, I did not get charged Sales tax on the declared value of 10800$ USD (yes, TEN THOUSAND) for 12 sets of panels. The tax would have been 1080.00 alone.

Frank, we know now why they put those labels on perscription drug bottles, do not fill in USPS forms while taking pain killers!!

Thanks again,

John and the Aussie Crew.
