K8055 Plugin - 3 Boards only Board 3 works after stop

Hi,

thanx for that brilliant soft :!:!:

played around with my RelayBoards noticed:

New Standard Sequence
added 24 channels
added K8055 plugin
configure plugin:
search devices
(device 1-3 found, selected and channels correctly assigned (1-8,9-16,17-24)
ok
done

edited some steps

start (3 boards working fine)
stop
start(only board with adress !3! started)

reproducability: everytime

edit:
i need to restart vixen to get the boards online and workin again with vixen. simple "search" for the devices wont help, since board 3 is the only result then.

board adresses are set correctly soft- and hardwaresided.
counterchecked with multi8055. own test routines work fine.
i guess the "reset or closedevice" is send only to the last(z) not to ALL devices.


K80 dll version 3.0.2.0 (checked different versions)
vixen 1.1.11

i ride some more tests with the latest vixen version (2.0.8.0) and 2 k8055 boards :


New Vixen Standard Sequence
added 16 channels
added K8055 plugin
configure plugin:
search devices
(device 1-2 found, selected and channels correctly assigned (1-8,9-16)
ok
done

edited some steps

start (only board with adress 2 works)
stop
start(only board with adress 2 works again)

then i did a simple "search" for the devices:
only board 2 is found.

i need to restart vixen to find both boards again.

What is the date and file size of the K8055.dll? I know KC has a version that works well with Vixen 2.x and 2 boards. He also has a plugin for Trigger, but I don't know if he has added them to the offical release. If you send me your address, I will send you what I have from him.

i didnt recieve any mail until now.

well,

changed the system32/k8055D.dll

from 3.20.X to 2.0.0.1 no success
back to 3.20.X

changed the vixen and vixen2 plugins dll from 1.11.1 to 2.0.5.1

cycled trough all combinations, no success

status:

only the board with the last adress is active.
doesnt matter if version vixen1 or 2.

multik8055demo.exe still working fine and correctly, adresses set well.

For version 2, there should be three files involved:

K8055.dll
K8055D.dll
K8055Output.dll

Did you try just placing the files that Don sent you in the Plugins/Output directory? There shouldn't be too much to this. The symptoms you're describing are the same ones that Don had. It took some work, but I *know* that we worked it out. There's just something we're not connecting on.

so i am back home after a big 2week event.

well now i had time to try out the new dlls. thank you very very much don for your support and sending me the files. sorry for the delay!

problem : solved

i just used the last DLLs you provided.
ALL DLLS !!!!
i did overwrite the system ones, and the v2 ones. also copied the new trigger dll.

it did work PERFECTLY until the last update.

new bugcase:

since the last update it is NOT POSSIBLE to play sequences anymoe. even if i delete all old sequences, cleaned up things, reconfigured everything etc...
BUT
i figured out that i simply need to remove the k8055trigger.dll
not that i used the trigger feature til now but it might become handy sooner or later.. if not i guess i can life without that :D
