Ok, after finding what a MR16 is and seeing how people designed/used them I started doing some drawing in CAD (sorry files no done so its not included) And I thought how I could "spice it up". I thought about using servos in some way to move the different colors on my house adding a little different look. I plan on having boxes with 3 colors each on the ground and in my eaves, soffets where I can. The servos will also be controlled by Vixen. I will provide more info when I get back from lunch :D

ok, a little more info on this. I plan to use this Servo from Great planes,

I am still unsure but I am hoping there is a DMX controller I can use (or design easy) to control these with Vixen. There will be 2 maybe 3 MR16's per Servo of one color. They will be angle to cover the area they need to, and that will be done once they are mounted.

My plan is to mount them in the soffets and power them from an outlet in out attic the goes to the power computer power supply and then the 12V to the controller. 1x4's that are painted with a few coats of outdoor paint will be used for the frames. Most of the mounting is still TBD but I am going to use the PVC MR16 mounting enclosure. Pictures to come later.

cool. I have seen that. I want to use MR16's instead of those giant LED's because I don't need THAT much control, movement, just a little up and down for color changing :)

Hey, there needs to bea mind reading violation!! I actually got on the board to find his site so I could take his schematic and turn it into what I wanted. I am just redoing his board in Express PCB without all the LEDS using the same code.

Well, after looking at his design and then talking with him, I was going no where fast with my own design so I bought some from him and will go from there. I am hoping to get this under way in a few weeks once I get some other project out of the way.
