I'm thinking about building wire frame fabric wrapped lighted giant candy canes. ~5 to 8 ft.

I have seen some pictures on the internet but can't find any build details.

If I can't find anything I'm just going to wing it trial and error!

So I could sure use some ideas to save me time and trouble if you have em. :)

3D or just 2D? I have a post about the 3D one I use HERE (http://williamschristmaslights.com/new-candy-cane/)

Aahhh! cleaver idea. Sure makes the top radius simple.

3D for sure. I have some 2x4" galvanized fencing I'm trying to roll and cover. The top radius has me stumped; I just might have to borrow your idea. :thup2:

I'm thinking a translucent covering (TBD). I'm planning on having LED lights internal for more of a glow effect.

I have one similar that has red and white ribbon covering that is mostly translucent.

Not handy. It was from Lowe's with incandescent lights. I changed them to led.
