With all of the LedTriks boards being made and more to come, I made up this crude, but very funtional LED tester. Considering the work involved in a LedTriks panel, it would be wise to test them before install, and this is a 'touch and go' tester. I was gonna go all out with a pcb based deal in an enclosure with a switch and indicator and blah blah blah, but this is one everyone can make and do it in about 15 minutes.

What you need

a 9v battery
one 330 ohm resistor
one 9v battery pigtail
two 1" pieces of 22ga solid copper wire.
a small piece of plexi or plastic. Just make sure it is very rigid.
Hot Glue gun

Not much to the assembly. The picture basically explains it. Just bend the copper wires as shown. cut the leads down on the resistor and solder one end to the bend wire and the other to a lead of the pigtail. The other bent copper wire to the other wire of the pigtail. Polarity is not a concern.
Hot glue the solder joint of the resistor and pigtail first, this is so it holds everything still to place the copper wires properly. Now glue the copper wire. Next glue the remaining copper wire keeping it straight and in line with the first one. Make sure they are not touching when done and space them about 1/16" apart on the bottom. You want a V inbetween them.
Install the battery and test your LEDs. 8)
