Light arch sequence ? Any help ?

Been trying to heck with no luck .
Can anyone show me what a little bit of a sequence would be for arch(s) going nice and smooth like Rich Holdmans in his video ?
I have been doing this and doing it and mine all seem to be VERY "stiff" and not "flow" like his does .
Any help ?
To out it simple , mine look like "hack and whack" did them - LOL

Well i had about 50 different patterns i set and left play through to see the differences. Some may not have looked perfect like the holdman display but I didnt care, Emma enjoyed each one just the same.
