Hey All,

I was about to head out to home depot to pick up a piece of pegboard, and found some I could use in the garage... however it has a matte white finish on one side.

Do you think there will be any reflection issues? Should I spray it a flat black... or perhaps just use the other side?

Thoughts? Comments? Favorite Sayings? ;-)

I'd go buy the new piece. Get exactly what you want. You won't be sorry.

Thanks... I took your advice.

Now I don't even have to worry about cutting it! :-)

Don't worry, you'll find another "BETTER" Use for the white piece!

If your new piece is the standard brown pegboard color you should still spray it black. I did not and I regret it.

ooofff... really? You get a good amount of reflection?
Cause I already glued in 5 columns and I'd hate to start again!

...You don't realize how many LEDs 768 is, until you start putting them in the peg board! :-)

...After trolling around and looking at other pictures... You're right, I should definitely still spray paint it.

I'll just look at it as wasting 80 LEDs... Grantd I could scarpe the hot glue off and use them again.

Perhaps paint it tonight and let it dry for the AM.

Glad I got this advice before getting any further

Yes please do paint it so you want kick yourself later. And believe me if you think 80 is a lot come talk to us all after your third complete one! LOL

Or in RonP's case it's got to be like 30 by now! :D

You will soon see why I am working had to make the next one very different. While it was an effective way to make it met the goal of cheap, and work. It is truly a labor of love. (maybe hate! you decide! LOL).
They are fun and really neat when done but OH your hands will hurt!

Invest in quality on it as you will not want to have to do it over because you cut any corners on it.
