KC,

First the improvements on the visualizer make this an amazing feature, thank-you very much!

The volume of my songs are often quite different, such that some seem are a bit too low compared to the others. Is there a way to add a volume setting in Vixen so that I can control the volume for individual sequences? Alternately if anyone is aware of a way to adjust the song and save it outside of Vixen that would be great as well. Thanks.

Bill

Sadly, I think there is a way to do it pretty easily. I say "sadly" because that means I can't hide behind a bunch of technical garbage, nor can I lie to you, which means more work for me. :)

Bill,
In looking into this further, the volume already defaults to the maximum playback volume. This means you could turn up the main volume control in Windows and trim other sequences down, if you still want the feature...?

You can use Audacity to adjust the volume of your music. http://audacity.sourceforge.net

Open you music file, hit Ctrl-A to select the whole thing and then go to Effect->Amplify and modify the drop/gain to get the output decibels you want.

Hi, thanks for both replies. I'm happy to manually modify the volume external to Vixen. Thanks for the help!

In looking at the .vix files I see there is a setting

<AudioVolume>0</AudioVolume>

Is this currently being used?
Or is this for future features?
