Is there a limit to the amount of Renard boards a single ZC generator can provide a ZC signal for? Can I hook up 10 Ren-64s to a single ZC generator or do I need a ZC generator for each Ren-64?

If you're using the Ren-T for the ZC, you should be OK with one for all of those controllers.

Thanks Phil, but one more question.
What about something like this? http://www.doityourselfchristmas.com/forums/showpost.php?p=27759&postcount=5
Or would the Ren-T be a better fit for multi-controller zc signals?

You're using the XB version of the Ren64?
That's basically the same circuit as J1/R1/R2/U6 in the upper left corner of Ren64-XB. If you prefer to have the same circuit on a separate board (so that there isn't any 110VAC on the controller) you could plug it into J17 in the lower left corner of the controller, and leave off all of the other ZC-related components except R14 (i.e. omit J1/R1/R2/U6/Q1/R9/J2). I would not use that ZC for more than one or two Ren64 boards, although I'm not sure if I could say why not (other than that the R14 resistors on the various controllers end up in parallel, which might overload the opto output).

Thanks again Phil. I think I will just use the Ren-T to supply the ZC for all my boards.
