Hi everyone,
Wanted to pass this one along also. If you need RJ-45 jacks found this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180190389053&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=008. Sent them a best offer of $20.00 and it was accepted. At time of this posting he had 9 sets of 200 left. I have already received mine and they fit the grinch, ssr and ren-c perfectly. (just have to bend the shield tabs up or cut them off.)

I think I would ask for $25 shipped and see if they take it.

I have already received them and they fit perfectly on the grinch, ren-c and ssr boards. They have good tension on the contacts and standard rj-45 plugs fit snug. Also I found the shields can be taken off very easily, leaving just the plastic jack.

They must be wising up, or don't have many left.

I put in a best offer and then we went through a few counteroffers. Their offer was always $27.50, no less. Still not a bad deal.

Yeh same thing when I try to get another lot for combined shipping discounts. I offered $15.50 and he countered offer with the $27.50 price. Hang in there and you might be able to get him to get it lowered.

I would assume the increase in offers from the members here are causing the seller to hold out for a higher price. I would think in a week or 2 when demand dies down a bit he might be more willing to negotiate.
