You can use something like this: http://www.banksupplies.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/875/products_id/2305
I'm going to make a version of this with a 6" piece of pipe about 10" long. It will have a hole in the back of it to allow me to attach it to my Tune to sign via a truck hitch pin that is mounted to the sign so I can reach into the unlocked box and snap the clip on it and no one would have access to remove it without first unlocking the box. Mine will be made of 1/4 steel instead of the ABS plastic that the bank supplies model has. My first version was to be made of square tubing but the pipe was free.

Danny...
Several years ago, my brother-in-law used to set up about 280,000 mini's and had a constant stream of traffic outside. He had a donation box made from a mailbox that was securly attached to a post planted in the ground. The box had a slot cut in the top so people could put in doations and there was a padlock on the front to keep everything safe. And inside the box, he put an old pinball machine "tilt" switch which would sound an alarm inside the house if anybody tried to get into the box.

I have a friend that uses a roll around safe. It is pretty neat, beacause on the money is dropped the kids can roll/spin it into the safe. I think he found this at a yard sale.
Also you can Checkout what Wayne K uses...here is a link to his site.

Darryl,
Thanks for that link. It was an interesting read. It is a very reasonable solution to a problem some of us seem to have, a good way to secure a donation box.

Just wondering what charitys we are all supporting this year? I guess different people will have different reasons for supporting different things.
We will be collecting for one of the childrens charity's. Hav'nt yet decided which one needs a little light

I cant believe that is what you are supporting. The little girl that past away that you are doing the voice over for past away there. She went there for a little under a year as they are one of the top hospitals in the country for Neuroblastoma,,, What a small world...
