Here is what I came up with for my small trees this year. I will have 8 of them and place them along the edge of the road. Credit goes to Henedce for the original idea and Holiday Coro for their version of it. I basically didn't like the shape of the HC trees. They are really skinny at the bottom, nothing wrong with that, just not the look we wanted. I basically purchased a 4x8 sheet of coro and did a drawing in Illustrator and made each tree as big as I could and still fit 8 on a sheet. So...here ya go.

When I say 3-4 dollars I meant just the tree, not the tree with lights. After the base, lights and how I am putting them into the ground with 6" carriage bolts into CPVC, I end up with around 8 dollars per tree.

I like that you went with a pentagon. I measured and cut all mine for hex, but the wife said they were too short and fat. All she said was to remove one side... viola! It looked much better.

Here is my test tree that is a hex, but folded over one edge to make a pentagon. For testing I just threw a rolled up dumb rgb strip in there. Still deciding if I should do pixels, rgb, or incan. I'm not a fan of too many pixels and rgb strips.

Both of you guys did a nice job on the coro mini trees!

I tried making them once and they were too difficult to light properly.
