Ok , here's the whole story .
Brand new ( sealed NIB ) PCI DIO 96 cards ( tried only one in the PCI slot first then tried the other , so I know its not a hardware problem .
Now , after installing both the software AND the hardware , when I go to start VIXEN , this is what comes up :
Ni DIO 96. dll:
Could not load type ' Vixen,version=2.0.5.1 , culture= neutral, PublicKey token= null'
Now , I get this TWICE when starting up VIXEN and also get it when I try to SETUP PLUGINs .
The only type of DIO listed in the PLUGINs ( after I start the VIXEN program ) that is listed , is :
MCC DIO
BTW - this PC is NOT online , nor , is it hooked to be .
So , could anyone tell me what the heck am I doing wrong here ?
( now , this PC that I am trying to use these on , is running a 2.4 CPU with 1 gig of DDR , 450 watt PS , and has 3 PCI slots , of which , one is taken by a sound card , twin 100 gigger HD's - all tested and stressed with Sisoft Sandra )

Bob,
You must have missed the posts dealing with the PCI-DIO-96 and that the plug-in only currently works with Vixen Ver 1.1.11. If you want to use the PCI-DIO-96 cards with Vixen then you need to go back to version 1.1.11.

Nope, nothing for anything higher than 1.1 yet. Have you had these running on 1.1? I had trouble setting mine up. You have to follow a pretty specific sequence to make them work. I started with a clean Windows XP image. I can do that as this is a dedicated computer. Then get on the internet and download NI-DAQmx Base 3.1. Now shut the computer down and install your card. When you restart it should reconize the hardware and install it. Now download NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 and install that. Restart again. Then check your device driver and make sure that 8.7.1 took. The first time I did it I installed 8.7.1 right away and could not get it out. I had to format and reinstall the base then 8.7.1 Ran the first time that way. I have followed this same procedure on the backup computer and it worked first time. Make sure you have all 3 of the DAQ files from the Vixen website downloaded and installed where they say.
Good Luck

Open up 1.1 and 2.0 at the same time. Create a new sequence in 1.1. Add the music, background, channels, etc. Now go to 2.0, open up the sequence you want. Select all. then ctrl + c go to the new sequence in 1.1. Select ctrl + v and walla, you just did a cut and paste. I'm guessing that's you only option.

You have to select the entire cell area in order to copy and paste the data. I have done it and it works. The only pia is manually selecting all the data as the scroll speed is limited.

Sorry ... not sure why , but I just tried again and no luck ( must be doing something wrong :( )
Tried using the COPY in the prog ,
tried CTRL + C
Even tried copying directly to clipboard .
no good ....
Any other suggestions ?
( would be SUPER if KC would think about doing a plug in for the new VIXEN for the NI DIO cards since theres a few of us using them --- :) )
