Hi All,

Ive just built a REN32 board and am trying to figure out what SSRs to get. Id like to get some that would fit in a TA-200. I bought regular led lights from Walmart. Can I use DC or do I have to use AC?

it will run both types.

quoted from Wiki. The REN 32 is the latest 32 channel Microchip 16F688 based PIC microcontroller Christmas light controller that can be used with up to 32 AC or DC solid state relay ()

You would want AC SSR's. Dirkcheaps might work good for you.

While the LEDs you bought probably do use DC, unless you want to be cutting wires and taking them apart, you'll need an AC SSR to control them.

As to which product to purchase, as always, the wiki is your friend:
