I have a large inflatable santa that is across from my neighbors burning pit. Unfortunately, when they burned their christmas tree today, a couple of pieces floated over and onto santa....burning one fist size hole in his back and a couple of half dollar sized holes in his feet. Needless to say...I am frustrated but I know this is fixable and luckily the holes are on the back/side.
My question is what is the most effective long term solution to fix these holes? I know I could put duct tape, etc but I was thinking to buy red material similar to what it is made out of, apply a sealant (maybe), stick it on and then sew the patch in place.
