Can someone give me or give me an idea about getting 2 595 boards working. First of all I have checked out both boards on at a time and can control ports 1 thru 64 on both of them. Next I daisy chained the boards together, and can control ports 1 thru 64 at will but if I want to turn on port 66 I would need to turn on 65 and 66. If I turn either port off the light goes out that is connected to 66. I have configured the controller for an Olson 595 with 128 ports. I hope you can make sense from this is not only my first attempt at making the boards but also my first attempt at seeking help.

Sorry, no answers yet, just questions-

What version of Vixen are you using?

What plug-In are you using? The normal Olson 595, I assume?

I have some questions regarding this statement:

If I turn either port off the light goes out that is connected to 66.

Does it happen in reverse? (What happens to what is connected at port 65 if you have both 65 and 66 on and turn off 66?)

Does this happen for only channels 65 and 66, or does it happen with all channels on the second board? (Does the same thing happen with, for example, channels 70 and 71?)

If you swap the boards in your setup, does anything happen differently?

It is hard to tell whether you are having a hardware or software issue...

Thanks Matt for the quick response. I had hard wired the power to into a short printer cable for the boards , then made an extension cord that had a cat 5 plug on the end and that is where I made the mistake. The Cat 5 plug changed the wire order and due to that the extension cord was wired incorrectly. Changed the Cat 5 plug out and problem was solved.
