So I purchased, a couple of sainsmart SSR-2f4805 based SSRs at a forum members suggestion. http://www.amazon.com/SainSmart-Channel-Arduino-Isolation-Voltage/dp/B008BGLM02 I am using a 15vdc 300mw power supply an hooking that to vcc and gnd accordingly. I hook a pin up to the arduino for data and I can see the led by each relay flashing as if it were being toggled, but the ac circuit isn't being completed.

Again, any help greatly appreciated.

Might help to post some photo of it to see if a second set of eye can help? Might be a connection issue or a bad solder joint. Just a thought.

This type of SSR is random trigger. Do you also have a zero-cross detection for your sketch to synchronize with your line frequency?
