Mega Tree Topper Options

I wanted to share with everyone my solution to my mega tree topper. While what I have done is very common, I usually find that others with a similar setup use zip ties to attach their light strings to the topper. My solution is to use snap hooks on each string. The snap hooks cost $12.00. While zip ties are cheaper, my thought is that I will not have to worry about replacing any broken zip ties during the season. I'll have to try that. I am going to make a metal plate to attach some links too as I cannot get up on my 20 foot mega tree to replace anything :p
