I was wondering if anyone has used just "normal" LED's in their LEDTriks? Most web sites refer to them as "red diffused" or "green diffused". Has everyone just used the HongKong.com LED's? If anyone has used something else I would love to know if you thought it was worth it. Thanks.

Not putting Hong Kong down but www.ledshoppe.com has great deals on LEDS. They are free shipping and they offer great qty discounts. I got 14 bags of red for the "group buy" and they were $20 a piece plus they gave me $10 off of the Red and Blue I wanted too.

Ben, Thanks for the web site, I definatly like their selection of colors.

Has anybody tried a multicolor sign. I am thinking about the first column being red, second column green, third column blue and so on. Anyone used this type on senerio?

I am working on a panel that will use Red, Green, Blue, and possibly white in 4 color clusters. I will control each LED individually. Its sounds like a massive undertaking but I am starting in small sections and making the panel modular. I do plan on using DMX with it. More info to come as I actually do something :p

I also heard that there was a LEDTRIKS II controller comming out that would facillitate Red, Green, Blue.
