View Full Version : Import from CSV file and Update Raw Channels

Probably another user error, but I can not get the import from CSV to update the preview group and number.

I am using it to update a new sequence from a previous one.

I exported from the original sequence that has all the setup done.
Then imported that file into the new sequence.

The confirmation comes up, but noting gets updated.

Here is a snip of the original sequence CSV export, and the one I want to update.
The channel names are a match, but nothing updates.

I can fix the preview manually, but will need it work when I start setting the output order for the show.

open your original sequence and choose create image , then you can create a new sequence from that image .

I found that works much better than a csv . If you must use csv you can edit it in Excel .

You must put a 1 in the last cell of the row you want to change. Once you have placed a 1 in each of the cells to be changed, save it. This is what makes the changes. Anything with a 0 will be ignored.

Thanks, that did it.
I had it stuck in my head that you only changed it to a 1 if you were changing the channel name.
