Ren XC need more help...

I have everything connscted, but nothing except power led comes on. I tried the diag test and get the following:
1 on
2 flashing
3 on
4 off
5 flashing
6 on (when vixen is running)
7 on (when vixen is running)
8 off

I've tried two different computers. One has serial port onboard, the other is using usb serial port.

Well LED#7 is supposed to indicate a framing error.

Did you set the baud rate to 19200 in the Renard Dimmer plug-in to match the diag firmware?

If so, maybe double check you cable & connection.

Everything looks good except for the LED#7 it should be off when vixen is running. Check make sure the baud rates all match... vixen plugin, com port, and the flashed firmware on the PIC.

It works, when diag code was ran, I forgot to set the computer baud rate. The real problem, I had the wrong firmware (somehow had the 115200 version)

Well, its works with the onboard serial, but not usb serial.

COOL! I personally would go with 57600 baud in the firmware and blink on. ;)

check the com port # and baud rate make sure they match in vixen.

That would probably be my fault :oops:

I have changed the firmware on the wiki to have the default baudrate set to 57600.
