I've been looking for elf blow molds this year, and the stuff I see available doesn't look anything like what I had in mind.

What I have in mind:

Hermey, et. al. from "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", circa 1964

What I see:

Garden gnomes
Leprechauns
Non-blue smurfs
Disney-oriented characters

Grumble, grumble....

No, I've seen those. I've done a decent amount of searching and just don't care for what I'm seeing.

Thanks Tim, but I've been offered that one. I think he looks too much like Claus. Just my interpretation.

I haven't found any Elf blow molds I'm crazy about either. I will likely just settle for something like the above ones posted.

Kirby was the cool elf (err, dork to them). I think Hermey was one of the other elves, but yeah...I'd take either of those guys.

I am trying to figure out the Kirby/Hermey. I have always thought it was Hermey. However a quick check on google shows that while the majority say Hermey (Hermie, Hermy, etc.) there is a small minority that use Kirby. According to the Rankin/bass web site posted below the script was for Hermey. Anyone know where Kirby came from?

Boy has this thread jumped...........
