Just an idea...
Why not have a section in the newsletter for the real nuts and bolts kinds of people. I was reading in another forum that someone was parsing a .VIX file for their own use. I think it would be cool if someone wrote a how-to on how to parse a .VIX file for us that could do it, but why re-invent the wheel. Sample code would be really cool. We could probably do a lot of in-depth technical how-to's. This could stimulate new and imaginative designs. I was thinking of both software and hardware items.
I'm fascinated by the topic of the stand-alone controller. How cool would it be to make a stand-alone controller that could interface and run all the current DIYC boards? That would be totally cool.
Awesome job Lou! Congratulations on a most spectacular issue.

I know what you mean, I do a monthly newsletter for my community and without reader additions each month gets harder and harder. Well done on the march edition.

Lou already tries to get reader submissions but they do not seem to be knocking down his door.

All in good fun. All in good fun. You are a far better man than I to take on such a thing. If I ran the coop, I'd take me parts out of the box and send the whole mess to the next guy on the list with instructions to do the same a pass it on.
So good thing you spoke up. But seriously, thanks.

That makes me wonder...
Ben - Are you going to manually count everything, or are you going to try to weigh them like Jason was?
If you are manually counting them - WOW!!!
Getting off topic for the Newsletter.
So, to bring it back on topic, if anyone wants to submit something, please do, I need some more topics.
Thanks
Lou

ROFL!
(I'd be the last guy in line and receive a beaten up empty box!)

Sorry!
Got carried away :)
Lou - Do you have specific topics you are looking for? I've been documenting my ride / journey - I'd be happy to share any of my findings, shortcomings, lessons learned to date...
