I'm looking for 3-way corner connectors that can hold 1/4" or 3/8" metal rods together. Something like the 3-way corner PVC connectors, just built for metal rods.

I've seen them before, they're usually hard plastic or rubber. Any suggestions on where to find them, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'd venture that someone makes a 1/4-20 T-Nut or T-Connector of some kind. That or get the 1" long threaded nuts for connecting all-thread together and weld 2 or 3 of them together and make your own they are cheap enough.

Yeah, I thought of that but I'd like to break these down for storage when not in use. If I weld them, they're in that connection permanently.

I was saying just weld the two nuts together and then screw the metal into the nuts..

Good thoughts, but I don't think it would work. Here's why.

I'm going to use metal rod to fashion boxes of square and rectangular shapes, something like so:17590

At each corner, I need to join three metal rods. So, 8 connections per rectangular/square shape. These are frames that will support coroplast wraps.

The ideal scenario is one that I can slip ends of the rod into, as opposed to a threaded nut/rod combination.

Maybe 3/8" pipe fittings with clamps or screws that can hold the metal rod tight...

Those would work, wonder if I I can get the boat ones in a smaller size (7/8" inch is the smallest)
