Dont let the price break scare us off.. this might be a decent CO-OP.

2 blade connectors at a few pennies apiece and you have an in-line fuse

I haven't tried this type but I have abondoned the recomended set up for SSRs that I'm putting in small boxes. I am using in-line fuses and fuse holders that I attach next to the SSR board. I may get a few of these and try them out.

I have also been looking at these holders from Jameco

hmmmm, pro's.... much, much less space (obvious)
the biggest 'con' I see is, no quick replacement. Desoldering and resoldering. Not something that I would want to do outside in sub freezing temps. :)

Just off the top of my head, use a small piece of DIP Socket, the fuse will press fit into each end with your fingers.

I cut off many 8 pin dip sockets to make the 6's for the MOC's.

$1.70 for a fuse? Is the decimal point off?

We used these on 300 OZSSR boards. FUSEHOLD1

From futurlec. Cheap but they did the job.

We had 12v, 24v and 240 AC running on them. We blew a few fuses and the inline holder held out.

Just have to make sure you disconnect the AC before working on them.
