Hey I have been looking into setting up and doing a light show for a live music performance.
What you guys have going on here is perfect. The only difference, of course, is that I will be controlling strobes and stage lights instead of christmas lights.
The music is electronic, so timing is not an issue. I'm just not exactly sure how to sync everything up. I can create a MIDI track for controlling the lights - is there a way in place for doing that?
If I could just send over a MIDI track to my virtual machine (I am on a mac) and have Vixen control a relay board, I'd be all set.
Can someone give me some tips on how to accomplish this? Am I going about it in the wrong way?
